A couple of days ago I managed to make another fold over clutch. This time I use orange fabric stripes as the exterior fabric, combined with coordinating solid cotton. I especially love the orange stripes, it's just brighten up my mood in the middle of cloudy days ^_^
As the lining, I also use the same solid brown cotton with full interface all around the NennyShttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09005965060329987975noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1821779082729799913.post-9575792905552310252011-02-05T06:59:00.000+08:002011-02-05T06:59:08.974+08:00Fold Over Clutch (Sewing Project #14)Hi everyone, what a nice day today! But here's the news, I made a new clutch. It's simple but clean and modern. The pattern is provided by KeykaLou. It is a super simple and easy to follow tutorial in a form of pdf file. (I tend to ruin my pattern when I copy it into fabric, so e-tutorial like this is a good way out because you can print hundreds of time ^_^).

It's been a messed up accessories that I had, that needs immediate arrangement. Sadly, I seems had no time to make the hanging organizer, until today...
It was a perfect morning to sew, and I just cut and arrange my felt scraps on a piece of unbleached cotton, and sewn it. I'm trying another bag pattern from Napkitten. It's actually a clutch with a flap. It's a little bit tricky anyway, especially on the zipper part. Not like usual zipper I installed, it's an insert zipper. so the technique is nouvelle to me. But then, I manage to work it out.
Making this clutch, I learn to sew pipping bias tape. Have you plan something craft this weekend? :) For those who still curious about getting a free crochet pattern, I will guide you to get not one, but hundreds of free pattern. Exciting?
Ok, here's a couple of way how to do it:
1. Get your Google, type in "free crochet pattern" for the keyword (complete with the quotation mark), and you'll got hundreds of links. One easiest NennyShttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09005965060329987975noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1821779082729799913.post-60613940289254091682010-11-09T15:00:00.000+08:002010-11-09T15:00:08.660+08:00Crochet Doily - On the MakingAfter a little bit of doily, I decided to make another one. I actually found an old pattern on my files which I'd like to try. It looks simple, doesnt have many rounds to finish. It means quick to finish (I must confess that I'm not a very patient person -- guilty :P). Anyway, here are a couple of snapshot of what I'm doing at the moment.
